Make bite-sized chocolate morsels with a creamy peanut butter filling and cake center — a fun and easy candy project.

Supply List

Melting chocolate chips
Cake (your choice of flavor)
Peanut butter
Butter
Salt
Confectioners sugar
Water
Chocolate molds
Cookie cutters

Instructions

  • Heat melting chocolate chips in microwave for 30 seconds, then in 15-second intervals until ready to stir.

  • Stir chocolate and pour into molds. Be careful to coat the sides. Let harden.

  • Make the peanut butter filling: Place butter into a bowl. Stir in the peanut butter and the salt. Mix well.

  • Add the confectioners sugar and mix. Add water and mix until totally combined.
  • Pour filling out onto parchment paper. Fold paper over the top of filling. Roll flat with rolling pin.

  • Using cookie cutters, cut pieces of filling and add to chocolate in molds.

  • Repeat with pieces of cake (your choice of flavor).

  • Melt more chocolate, and pour over the top of the cake. Let harden.
