Instructions

  • Line a cookie sheet with plastic wrap and lay out edible paper.
  • Using a small amount of water, mix up the blue edible colors in two small bowls.

  • With a paintbrush or dropper, color the paper randomly. Set aside to dry, preferably overnight.

  • Rip the paper into horizontal strips.

  • Using piping gel, attach the designed paper to your pre-prepared, fondant-covered cake, working from the top down on the lower layer.

Notes

Start with a pre-made, fondant-covered cake set on a cake board.

Let the colored edible paper dry overnight before applying to the cake.
